between december 2004 and january 2005 the five-piece basic collective of julie's haircut united with a bunch of friends providing extra guitar performances and more and recorded different sessions on their own home equipment, known to them as the "toxic tape" studio.

from these sessions nine songs were taken and grouped into 3 different sets, including re-arranged julies' songs, cover versions, and even absolutely new original material.

each of these 3 sets was then donated exclusively to 6 italian radio shows that distinguished themselves for their support of italian independent music. these songs will be aired exclusively by these radios for the first time, while a nationwide broadcast of selected songs from these sets will be provided by popolare network and its "patchanka" show.

these songs are not destined to be released on record, while free distribution on the internet and on air is encouraged by the band.
